Recent renovations to the house and deck provided an opportunity to improve access to the pool and increase the patio area. We were able to upgrade the existing pool and hot tub area from their outdated form with custom-manufactured concrete coping and patio surround. Stone walls were incorporated into the design to allow the pool patio to enlarge and to create a more sophisticated transition between spaces. The limestone veneer and coping used for the walls in the pool area match those used on the stone for the home renovations allowing for a seamless flow. A custom stone wood-burning fire pit was built into the lower level of the pool area and stepping stones accented by synthetic turf were used to soften the hardscape surfaces and add interest. A mixture of seasonal plantings, ornamental grasses, and pollinator-friendly perennials add to the year-round beauty of this stunning space.
